Study is a bit narrow in scope but it does address an important topic. Dissertation recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of the security challenge. Based on advisor letter, the consortium is timely and aligns with the launch of her pilot study. I presume the site for the pilot has already been secured but it is not explicitly mentioned in the proposal.

There has been a fair amount of research on "behavioural" security--i.e., getting people to act in more secure ways. Hypotheses seem obvious. Why would theories of persuasion not be applicable? Outcome measure seems a bit removed from intervention but she does have a point that looking at actual outcomes would be a good idea. Shouldn't independent variables be assessed by receivers, not her?
